K-MOOC, the Korean Massive Open Online Course platform, aims to lay the foundation for lifelong learning in higher education while striving to balance educational opportunities for all individuals.

As of 2018, K-MOOC offers a diverse selection of over 300 courses from 70 leading universities, including prestigious institutions such as Seoul National University and KAIST. This initiative is open to anyone interested in advancing their education.

K-MOOC represents a new educational paradigm where learners engage in a collaborative learning experience, interacting with both instructors and peers.

The K-MOOC mobile application provides a variety of functionalities designed to enhance the learning experience:

• Sign up and log in to the platform
• Enroll in courses and maintain a personalized course list
• Participate in classes: view instructional videos (including closed captions), complete assignments, etc.
• Download course videos for offline viewing (with options to restrict downloads to Wi-Fi connections)
• Engage with fellow learners through bulletin boards
• Access learning materials and receive course announcements
